Georgina Culliford

Georgina has 8 years’ experience in the social research sector, having developed a passion for exploring inequality in all its forms throughout her MA in Social Research. She also loves connecting with other researchers and exploring best practice, and chairs the Social Research Association Northern branch. Georgina is a qualitative specialist, and often leads projects that cover the most sensitive or complex issues. This has included work on cancer, HIV, debt, disability, addiction, social care, domestic abuse and human trafficking. No matter the topic, Georgina ensures participants feel valued and comfortable sharing their experiences. Some highlights to date includecapturing experiences of homelessness and addiction services, presenting conference talks about the link between neurodivergence and debt, and helping utilities develop support strategies for customers facing different vulnerabilities...and getting to join in an over 60s Zumba class for a community health project! Georgina loves reading (of any genre!), yoga, pub quizzes and exploring the restaurants of Yorkshire.
