Hannah Penrose

Hannah brings deep expertise in qualitative research approaches, with a particular passion to provide a voice for under represented and more vulnerable communities.

Hannah has worked with modern slavery support providers to amplify survivor voices, conducting research with people experiencing homelessness, and undertaken walk along depths with families in high deprivation areas. She brings substantial experience in research on sensitive topics and commonly uses a flexible, participant-led and trauma-informed approach tailored to individual need.

Hannah has a BA (Hons) in Sociology with Criminology and an MA in Social Research. Outside work, she
enjoys going to the cinema, going on walks in the countryside, and trying out new coffee shops looking for a good flat white!
