Kay Silversides

Research Manager

Kay specialises in qualitative research and programme evaluation. Working mainly with public and third sector clients, she has delivered countless major process and impact evaluations. She also regularly works alongside her clients to develop evaluation frameworks which provide robust, nuanced evidence aligned to funders' needs. With 25 years' experience in social research, Kay also has a strong track record of collaborating with partners to assess economic impact or social return on investment.

Kay's specialist themes include health and wellbeing, children and families, and social care. She has worked extensively on evaluations of projects designed to provide support for people in challenging circumstances, including those with long term physical and mental health conditions, families of children with disabilities and people living with dementia. Kay has a BA (Hons) in Sociology from the University of York.

Away from work, she enjoy spending time with her family (including their Ragdoll cat, Lulu), yoga, good food and wine, and sunny holidays.
